10/5/15 (day 1)
1.Review Unit 2 and set new goals for Unit 3
1.Unit 3 projected schedule  and Unit 3 study guide distributed.  Study Guide due 10/20/15.
2. WCI: Answer the essential question: “What supported Rome in conquering the Mediterranean?”
2.Homework: Read Chapter 5.1 and complete Guided Reading activity 5.1 for 10/6/15.

10/6/15 (day 2)
1. Discuss Guided Reading activity 5.1.
2. WCI: Using Chapter 5.2 determine the factors that led to the end of the Roman Republic.  Answer the essential question: “What factors contributed to the destabilization of the Roman Republic?”.
3. Homework: Read chapter 5.2 and complete Guided Reading activity 5.2 for 10/7/15
